FAQ
Free trial questions
When should I cancel a free trial so I am not charged?
Before the trial end time — ideally a day early. Many services bill at the exact moment the trial ends, and some take payment a few hours before. Cancelling early usually keeps your access until the trial would have ended anyway.
How is a 1-month trial counted?
Most services count a calendar month: a trial started on 15 March ends on 15 April. If the next month is shorter (31 January → February) it ends on that month’s last day. Pick “1 calendar month” for this rule, or “30 days” if the service says 30 days.
Does this tool store my data?
No. Your trials are saved only in this browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent to AltFTool, and clearing your browser data removes them.
How do the calendar reminders work?
“Add to calendar” downloads a standard .ics file. Open it and your calendar app (Google, Apple, Outlook) adds an event with an alert at the reminder time you chose.
