How to claim Epic Games Store free games

  1. 1Sign in to (or create) a free Epic Games account.
  2. 2Open the Free Games section of the Epic Games Store.
  3. 3Click the current free title and choose Get, then Place Order (the total shows $0).
  4. 4The game is now in your library; you can install it whenever you like.

Tips and gotchas

  • Claiming is enough - you do not need to download or install the game before the window closes.
  • Epic usually shows next week's games in advance, so you can plan ahead.
  • Around the December holidays Epic has historically switched to a daily 'mystery game' run, so check daily then.
