A handful of long-running sites give away full licences of paid desktop software, usually for 24 hours at a time. The catch is in the terms: some licences have no updates or are for personal use only. Each listing below spells that out.
Giveaway of the Day
Each day the site features a paid Windows app that you can install and activate free during that day. The licence works only for that version and generally for non-commercial use.
SharewareOnSale
SharewareOnSale runs frequent 100%-off giveaways of Windows, Mac and Android software. Terms differ per offer: some are lifetime licences, others are one-year keys.
Digiarty Software
Digiarty regularly gives away full licences of its WinX DVD and video tools around holidays. The free licence covers only the current version without future updates.
