For AI tool makers

Where to submit your AI tool: 75 directories and launch sites

Built an AI tool? These are the directories, launch platforms, review sites, communities and newsletters where makers list new AI products. Each row shows the cost and link type we found.

Every row is marked “Needs checking” until we verify its submit page; terms change, so confirm on the site. For general link building, see Backlinks and our free directory submission sites.

How to submit, in three steps

  1. Step 1

    Prepare a listing kit

Tagline, short and long description, pricing, category, logo, screenshots and a demo video, all in one folder so each submission takes minutes.

  2. Step 2

Write a unique description per site

Rework the copy for each directory's audience and format. Duplicate text across dozens of sites reads as spam to people and search engines alike.

  3. Step 3

    Track every submission

Keep a sheet with the site, date, status, listing URL and link type. Follow up on pending reviews and keep pricing current when it changes.

Submitting an AI tool: common questions

Where should I submit my AI tool first?

Start with the large AI tool directories and one launch platform, then add review sites and communities where your users already spend time. Quality listings on a few relevant sites beat a copy-pasted blurb on hundreds.

Are AI directory listings free?

Many have a free listing, often with a paid option for faster review or a featured spot. Each row shows the cost we found; check the site's submit page, because terms change.

Do these directories give dofollow backlinks?

Some do and some don't, and it changes. We mark the link type as our best estimate and every row as 'Needs checking' until someone verifies the submit page. Treat a listing as a source of users first and a backlink second.

What do I need before I submit?

A listing kit: a one-line tagline, a short and a long description, pricing, category, logo, three or four screenshots, a demo video if you have one and a contact email. Write a unique description per site instead of pasting the same text everywhere.

None of these sites paid to be listed and we have no affiliate links. Looking for tools rather than listing one? Browse the AI Tools Directory or the AI bundles.
