About this tool
Hundreds of unique prompts with category selection, difficulty filters, and random mode for the ultimate party game.
This Never Have I Ever generator draws from 240 written prompts — eight themes (party, travel, school, work, relationships, drinking, childhood, embarrassing) each with 10 easy, 10 medium and 10 hard statements — and deals them one at a time with a spin animation. It tracks which prompts you have already seen so the same statement does not come back inside a session, lets you skip a card you would rather not read out, and star the ones that got the biggest reaction. Random mode ignores the theme and pulls from every category at your chosen difficulty, which is what you want once a group has burned through its favourite one.
Open Never Have I Ever on AltFTool — it loads instantly in your browser.
Pick a category chip — Party, Travel, School, Work, Relationships, Drinking, Childhood or Embarrassing — and an easy, medium or hard tier, or tick "Random mode (all categories)" to pool every theme at that difficulty.
Press "Pick a Prompt" to spin and deal a statement, then answer with "I Have" or "Never Have"; the star keeps the card in Favorites and Skip draws the next one.
Used Prompts counts what has already been dealt and the panel shows how many prompts remain, saying "You've seen all prompts! Reset to continue." when the set runs out; "Reset All Prompts" restores the full set.
Each of the eight themes has its own separate easy, medium and hard lists, so turning it down actually changes the questions rather than filtering a single pile.
Seen prompts are remembered until you reset, and the game tells you when you have exhausted the set rather than quietly looping.
A card you would rather not put to this particular group is one tap away from gone, and the ones that landed can be kept for next time.
240 in total — eight categories with 30 prompts each, split evenly into 10 easy, 10 medium and 10 hard. Random mode pools every category at your chosen difficulty, giving 80 possible prompts per difficulty level in one run.
Someone reads a statement beginning 'Never have I ever…', and anyone who has done the thing loses a point — traditionally by putting a finger down, having started with ten fingers up. The last player with a finger still raised wins, and drinking is entirely optional; finger-down scoring works just as well with a group that is not drinking.
Yes. Drinking is one of the eight categories and you simply pick a different theme — travel, school, work and childhood stay away from alcohol entirely, and the easy tier across every category is written to be safe for a mixed or family group.
Three or more works best, and it scales comfortably to a dozen. With only two players you learn a lot about one person very quickly but lose the comparison between answers that makes the game funny.
