Short on time? Three 20-minute full-body sessions built from paired exercises (supersets), so you rest one muscle group while working another.
Busy people of any level with a pair of dumbbells, at home or in a gym. Every dumbbell move has a body-weight option.
How to run it: Do the moves in pairs: A1 then A2, rest 30-45 s, and repeat for 3 rounds before moving to B1 and B2.
Day 1 · Monday
Superset 1: moves 1+2 · Superset 2: moves 3+4
Day 2 · Wednesday
Superset 1: moves 1+2 · Superset 2: moves 3+4
Day 3 · Friday
Superset 1: moves 1+2 · Superset 2: moves 3+4
Each week, try to add one rep to each set. When every set reaches the top of the range, go up a dumbbell size (or a harder body-weight version) and start again at the bottom.
Make it yours
Change the days, the session length, your equipment or your goal, and get a week built for you, with any exercise swappable.
For general strength and health, yes, if you train with effort and progress over time. Short sessions done consistently beat long sessions you skip.
Two exercises done back to back, then a short rest. Pairing moves for different muscles (like a squat and a push-up) lets you get more work done in less time.
Not the same full-body session. Train these three days a week with a day off between them, and walk or do light activity on the other days.
