AltFTool's Image Resizer resizes up to 20 images at a time to exact pixel sizes, a percentage or a social-media preset, free and in the browser. iLoveIMG Premium was ₹500/month on the India storefront when it was checked, which is not a USD price, and its free plan caps a resize task at 30 files. Canva lists resize as a Pro-only tool, and Canva Pro was ₹500/month on the India storefront we were served.

What each free tier actually allows

Whether you need to pay at all depends on where the free plan's ceiling sits. Here it is in each vendor's own terms.

iLoveIMG

Not a USD price
  • Free (Basic) batch limits, per task: 30 files for Compress, Resize, Convert to JPG, Convert from JPG, Rotate and Watermark; 10 files for Blur face; 3 files for Remove background; 1 file for Crop, Image Editor, Meme generator and Upscale (Premium raises most of these to 120)
  • Free file-size limit per task: 200 MB for most tools, 90 MB for Crop, 50 MB for the Image Editor, 6 MB for Upscale (Premium raises most tools to 4 GB)
  • Free plan is listed as "Limited tools" in the plan comparison; "All tools included" is Premium/Business only
  • Free plan is ad-supported; "Ad-free service" is a Premium/Business row in the comparison table
  • AI Credits are Premium-only: the free plan gets none, Premium includes 2,000 AI Credits per month
  • Regional file processing: 7 regions on Premium, 11 on Business — not offered on the free plan
  • Files are uploaded to their servers: "ILOVEPDF will delete the files of your Content within TWO (2) HOURS of being processed"

Canva Pro

Not a USD price
  • Canva Free is ₹0 and open to anyone. The pricing page advertises no numeric caps for the free plan; the stated differences are that Free gets a shared allowance across Standard and Premium AI only, while premium content, premium templates and higher AI allowances sit behind Pro.

What the free Image Resizer does not do

A comparison that cannot say what its own tool gives up is an advert.

  • 20 images per batch and 35 MB per image. iLoveIMG's free plan allows 30 files per resize task, so for bulk jobs it is the more generous free option.
  • Canva's Magic Resize reformats a whole finished design, with its text and layout, into new sizes. This tool scales pixels; it does not rearrange a layout.
  • Re-encoding through the canvas drops EXIF metadata and colour profiles, and there is no CMYK or print-resolution (DPI) setting.

What the free Image Resizer does

  • Exact width and height, a percentage scale, or platform presets, with fit, fill-crop or stretch modes
  • Batch of up to 20 images (35 MB each), exported as JPEG, PNG, WebP or the source format, one by one or as a ZIP
  • Runs on canvas in your browser, so the images are not uploaded to us

Questions people actually ask

Does resizing make my photo lose quality?

Shrinking an image discards pixels, so fine detail goes; enlarging it cannot add detail that was never there. For the sharpest result, keep PNG for graphics and use JPEG or WebP at a high quality setting for photos.
