Where do the starting prices come from?
Each starting figure is the USD list price printed on the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown in the price table. Products whose page quoted only a non-USD price start empty, because we never convert currencies — type in what you pay.
Is the total what I would save by switching?
No. It is the sum of the numbers you see. Most of these products do much more than the single job a free AltFTool page covers, so cancelling one is a decision about features, not just price. Each linked comparison lists what you would give up.
Is anything I enter saved or sent?
No. The checker runs entirely in this page. Nothing you tick or type is stored or sent to us.
