Core Policy Commitments
Commercial Fleet Backing
Partner fleets maintain active commercial garage and fleet insurance policies with statutory liability and physical damage coverage.
Driver Primary Policy
Renter's personal or corporate automobile insurance serves as the primary policy for comprehensive and collision claims.
Security Deposit Hold
Fleet operators require an authorized credit card hold (ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 depending on vehicle tier) to cover deductibles.
Zero Apex Liability
Apex accepts no liability for mechanical breakdowns, personal injury, traffic violations, or property damage during rental periods.
1.0 1. Insurance Hierarchy & Requirements
Exotic car rentals operate under a dual-layer insurance structure: (a) The driver's personal or corporate insurance policy acts as primary coverage for comprehensive, collision, and third-party liability; and (b) The fleet owner's commercial policy provides supplementary backing.
Before taking delivery, drivers must supply an active Certificate of Insurance with collision limits matching the agreed vehicle valuation (typically $150,000 to $500,000+).
2.0 2. Security Deposit Protocols
A pre-authorization security deposit is placed on the renter's major credit card at the time of vehicle inspection. Deposit amounts vary by vehicle tier: Tier 1 (e.g., Porsche 911) $2,500; Tier 2 (e.g., Ferrari 296, McLaren 750S) $5,000; Tier 3 (e.g., SF90, Revuelto, Rolls-Royce Phantom) $10,000.
Deposits are fully released by the fleet operator following post-rental check-in, subject to vehicle condition, fuel levels, and mileage reconciliation.
3.0 3. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
Apex Exotic Rentals, its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from vehicle operation, road hazards, mechanical failures, or disputes between renters and fleet operators.
By utilizing our referral matching service, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apex from all claims arising out of vehicle usage or contractual agreements executed with third-party providers.
4.0 4. Prohibited Vehicle Activities
All matched fleet contracts strictly prohibit: (a) Track racing, drag racing, drifting, or speed trials; (b) Driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances; (c) Commercial ridesharing or subleasing; and (d) Operating beyond permitted state borders without prior written authorization.
Engaging in prohibited activities immediately voids insurance coverage and results in forfeiture of the entire security deposit.
