This page joins your saved NTA response sheet to the provisional answer key on Question ID and scores the result in your browser, so you never match 180 to 300 rows by hand again. NTA's response sheet records your Chosen Option as a position (1 to 4) while the answer key gives the correct answer as an Option ID, and the key's Question IDs are not printed in exam order — so the join has to run per candidate, since option IDs are shuffled between candidates. NTA states that Question IDs in the answer key are not in sequential order, so the key is matched row by row on the ID itself and unmatched IDs on either side are reported instead of silently scored.
The key's Correct Option ID is located in your own Option 1–4 ID list and turned into a position before it is compared with your Chosen Option, which is the only way a shuffled paper can be scored correctly.
Correct and wrong marks are editable for multiple-choice and numerical questions separately, because the scheme differs by exam and by year, and dropped questions follow whichever rule your paper's notice states.

Because NTA publishes the correct answer as an Option ID — an 11 or 12 digit number — and every candidate's four Option IDs sit in a different order. Your response sheet lists Option 1 ID to Option 4 ID for each question, so the correct Option ID has to be found in your own list to learn which position it is. This tool does that lookup; it also accepts a key written as plain option numbers 1 to 4 if that is what you have.

CUET (UG) 2026 is +5 and −1 over 50 compulsory questions for 250 marks per paper. JEE Main Paper 1 Section A multiple-choice is +4 and −1, while whether Section B numerical questions carry −1 has changed between cycles, which is why both the multiple-choice and numerical rows here are editable and nothing is fixed in the code.
By the rule you pick, because NTA states the treatment separately in each paper's notice — full marks to every candidate, full marks only to candidates who attempted it, or no marks at all are all in use. Mark a key row as "Dropped" (or *, bonus, grace, all options) and the question is scored by the rule you selected and flagged in the table. A question with more than one correct answer is different: any one of the listed correct options is credited in full.
