Pranx exists for harmless fun. These terms are mostly about the one thing it must never be used for.
Use it for jokes, not for harm
These simulators imitate error screens, terminals and system dialogs. Using them to frighten someone into paying money, handing over credentials, installing software, or taking any action against their interests is not what this site is for and is not permitted.
Do not present a simulator as a real system failure to anyone who might reasonably act on it — and do not use them on machines you do not have permission to touch.
Nothing is installed
Every prank is a web page. Nothing is downloaded, nothing is installed, and no setting on your computer is changed. Pressing Esc leaves fullscreen and returns you to normal browsing at any time.
No warranty
Pranx is provided as it is, free, with no guarantee of availability. We may add, change or remove simulators without notice.
