Commitment to Privacy
At Intimacy & Wellness Guide, we do not require account registration, passwords, or personal medical histories to access our educational content. Seeking health knowledge should be a secure experience.
We do not collect personally identifiable health information or clinical diagnosis records, and browsing the guides requires no account and no details from you. The data processed is:
1. Anonymized Search Queries: Aggregate search logs to identify popular educational topics without storing IP addresses.
2. Server Telemetry: Non-identifiable web metrics (device type, browser version) to optimize server speed.
3. Details You Submit to a Subscribe Form: Only if you choose to use the newsletter form or the access popup. We store the email address you enter and, where the form offers the field, the phone number — that one is optional and you can leave it blank.
4. Context Recorded With a Subscribe Submission: Saved alongside items 3 so we can show that a subscription was genuine and see which page produced it. This is the page and referring address, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and time zone, any campaign tags in the link you arrived through, an approximate location derived from your network, and a shortened form of your IP address with the final part removed. We also keep a one-way scrambled fingerprint of the full address, which cannot be turned back into it and exists only so a specific address can be checked against a record if a subscription is ever disputed. The readable full address is never stored. We also keep the exact consent wording shown to you at the moment you submitted, which is why that sentence is recorded word for word.
Items 3 and 4 are recorded only when you submit a form — reading the guides sends us none of it. To have a subscription and everything stored with it erased, email altftool@gmail.com and we will delete the record.
We utilize essential browser cookies and local storage tokens strictly to maintain session security, save your cookie preferences, and remember that you have already subscribed so the access popup stops appearing. That last item is a yes/no marker only — your email address and phone number are not kept on your device.
Our guides may contain links to official clinical entities (such as local health centers, the CDC, WHO, or crisis helplines). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites and advise reviewing their policies directly upon navigation.
We may update this policy periodically to align with evolving health privacy guidelines. If you have questions about our approach to privacy or content curation, feel free to visit our About Page or contact our team.
