Core Policy Commitments
Confidential Passenger Manifests
Guest passport details and preference sheets required by maritime port authorities are encrypted and transmitted solely to the vessel captain and customs officials.
Zero Data Brokerage or Sale
Your personal and financial records are never monetized, traded, or shared with commercial marketers.
Off-Market Fleet Privacy
Private yacht owners sharing unlisted pocket-listings have their vessel names, hull identification numbers, and home ports shielded behind NDAs.
Right to Immediate Erasure
Upon conclusion of charter escrow or transaction settlement, clients may request permanent scrubbing of contact dossiers.
1.0 1. Information We Collect
When you interact with Rapide Yacht Group online, via concierge phone lines, or through tailored yacht charter briefs, we collect information necessary to fulfill your maritime inquiry.
This includes: (a) Identification information (full name, email address, telephone number, country of residency); (b) Charter specifications (desired cruising grounds, target charter dates, guest count, cabin layout requirements); (c) For finalized charters: passport copies, dietary preference sheets, and maritime clearance forms required by customs authorities.
2.0 2. How We Use Client Information
We process your data strictly to: deliver tailored charter proposals; check real-time multihull calendar availability; prepare formal charter agreements; coordinate onboard provisioning with yacht chefs; and facilitate secure escrow wires.
We do not use automated profiling or algorithmic scoring to make legal decisions concerning your booking eligibility.
3.0 3. Passenger Manifest & Port Authority Discretion
International maritime regulations mandate that yacht captains submit an official crew and passenger manifest prior to entering territorial waters, marine national parks, or international ports of entry.
Passenger data is transmitted securely to the vessel Master over encrypted channels and presented exclusively to sovereign immigration, customs, and coast guard officers. We do not retain copies of guest passports on unencrypted public web servers.
4.0 4. Financial & Escrow Wire Protection
Rapide Yacht Group does not store full credit card numbers or banking account passwords. Charter wires and security deposits are conducted via verified SWIFT, Fedwire, or regulated maritime escrow escrow institutions.
Wire instructions from Rapide Yacht Group are verbally verified via phone confirmation protocols to prevent intercept fraud.
5.0 5. Your Privacy Rights & Erasure Requests
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you hold enforceable privacy rights:
- Right of Access: You may request a complete summary of all personal dossiers held in our brokerage database.
- Right to Rectification: You may request immediate correction of any inaccurate or outdated information.
