Official Legal Notice
Terms of Use
Last updated: January 15, 2026 • FiberStream Internet Legal Repository
These terms govern your use of the FiberStream comparison platform, speed calculators, digital guides, and referral interfaces.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By browsing, viewing, or interacting with the FiberStream website and its associated tools, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Independent Comparison & Referral Platform
FiberStream is an independent informational publisher and comparison resource. We are **not** an internet service provider (ISP), telecommunications utility, or direct installer. We do not construct physical fiber drops, manage network routing, or directly bill end-user accounts.
All advertised plans, symmetrical speed representations (such as 300 Mbps, 1 Gig, 2 Gig, and 5 Gig), pricing tiers, promo terms, and installation timelines are compiled from public rate cards, press releases, and partner feeds. Final pricing and service availability are determined strictly by the originating provider at the time of order placement.
3. Speed & Performance Disclaimers
All broadband speed benchmarks displayed on FiberStream are framed as "up to" advertised speeds. Actual throughput, latency, and real-world performance depend on multiple external variables outside of FiberStream's control, including:
• Physical in-home optical network terminal (ONT) placement and wiring grade (Cat 5e vs. Cat 6/6a).
• Wi-Fi interference, spatial layout, physical obstructions, and client device antenna limitations.
• Local node capacity, network congestion during peak residential hours, and remote server response times.
Wired Ethernet speed tests directly attached to the primary gateway represent the only authoritative measure of line-rate bandwidth delivery.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All site architecture, custom layout designs, graphics, branding marks, editorial guides, copy, and code are the exclusive intellectual property of FiberStream and protected under applicable United States copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws. Unauthorized scraping, automated harvesting, or commercial duplication is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall FiberStream, its parent entities, officers, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, our informational tools, speed guides, or third-party provider services.
