1. About this policy
AltFTool's LiveWire Events service is an independent information and referral service for people exploring concert, festival, and live-event production. LiveWire Events does not produce events or provide the production services described on this site.
This policy applies to information collected through this LiveWire Events page and any contact, referral, or email-update option made available with it.
2. Information you provide
Depending on the feature you use, information may include your email address and any event details you choose to submit, such as event type, location, timing, or the production support you are seeking. The email-updates form collects the email address you enter if that feature is connected and submitted.
Do not include payment card numbers, passwords, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information in an event inquiry.
3. Technical information
When you visit the site, hosting and security systems may process basic technical information such as browser and device details, IP address, request timestamps, and pages requested. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used as described in the Cookie Policy.
4. How information is used
- To respond to an inquiry or provide the referral option you requested, where available.
- To send email updates if you choose to subscribe and the newsletter service is enabled.
- To operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the site and its forms.
- To meet applicable legal obligations and address misuse or security issues.
5. Referrals and service providers
If you use a contact or referral option and ask to be connected, the information needed to handle that request may be shared with an independent producer, crew, or event vendor. The provider operates separately from AltFTool and LiveWire Events and handles information under its own practices. Review the provider's privacy information before sharing additional details or entering an agreement.
Information may also be processed by hosting, form, email, security, or measurement providers used to operate the site, and may be disclosed when required by law. We do not share inquiry details with an event vendor merely because you viewed a category page.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was submitted, operational requirements, or legal obligations. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and requests
You may stop optional email updates using the unsubscribe method provided in a message. You can request access, correction, or deletion of information submitted through a LiveWire Events feature by contacting AltFTool through its contact page. We may need to verify a request and retain records where the law permits or requires it.
8. Children and policy updates
This service is intended for event organizers and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
