A dropped zero can be worth a thousand dollars
Airline pricing is filed by machines and edited by people, and people occasionally key a fare from Los Angeles to Reykjavík as though it ended in Las Vegas. When that happens the window is short: sometimes nine hours, sometimes ninety minutes.
- We verify before we send. A human loads the itinerary and confirms it prices out before the alert goes to your inbox.
- We tell you how long these usually last. Every mistake-fare alert is labeled, with a note on the typical booking window.
- We are honest about the risk. Airlines can and sometimes do cancel these tickets. Hold off on hotels until the airline confirms.
