If you do not agree with any provision of these terms, please discontinue use of this site immediately.
Independent Information & Referral Service
AltFTool is an independent educational and referral service for individuals researching fitness franchise ownership. AltFTool is not a franchisor, does not own or operate any fitness brand, and does not sell, offer, or grant franchise rights of any kind.
AltFTool is not a franchise broker, sales agency, or franchise seller organisation. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any franchise.
Franchise offerings are made solely by franchisors through their registered Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and binding franchise agreements. AltFTool does not issue or execute franchise agreements.
No Financial, Legal, Tax, or Investment Advice
The informational content, articles, investment ranges, and guides provided on this platform are for general educational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
We do not review, interpret, or validate specific franchise agreements, leases, or business pro-formas. You must retain an independent franchise attorney and a certified public accountant of your own choosing before entering into any franchise relationship.
No Earnings, Sales, or Performance Claims
AltFTool makes no representations, warranties, promises, or guarantees regarding revenues, sales, member counts, profits, or the likelihood of commercial success for any franchise concept or location.
Under the FTC Franchise Rule (16 CFR Part 436), franchisors may make financial performance representations only in Item 19 of their FDD. If Item 19 is blank, no person or entity is legally permitted to make statements regarding unit revenue.
- All investment figures on this site are illustrative industry summaries compiled for general orientation.
- Item 7 of the specific franchisor's current FDD is the sole authoritative estimate for initial capital requirements.
- Prospective franchisees bear full responsibility for independent financial modeling and capital budgeting.
The FTC 14-Day Mandatory Review Period
Under federal law, prospective franchisees must receive the complete Franchise Disclosure Document at least 14 full calendar days before signing any binding agreement or paying any consideration.
Some states require additional pre-sale disclosure periods or state franchise registration. Verify compliance with your licensed franchise attorney.
Independence & Referral Disclosures
Mentioning a format, franchisor, or category does not constitute an endorsement or verification by AltFTool.
AltFTool may receive marketing or referral fees from certain franchisors if you subsequently enter into an agreement with them. Such arrangements never increase your franchise costs and never alter our guidance to verify all representations against the FDD.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AltFTool, its parent entities, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or reliance upon any content on this website.
