Keeping shots consistent across a sequence
Why separately generated clips refuse to cut together, and the prompt discipline that fixes it.

The problem
Generate five clips from five prompts and they will not intercut. The grade drifts, the light direction changes, the lens character varies, and the result reads as five clips rather than one film — even when every individual clip is good.
This is the single biggest practical obstacle to using generated video in real work, and it is largely solvable at the prompt level.

Write a constant block
Decide the things that must not change and write them identically in every prompt: the grade, the light quality and direction, the lens character, the colour palette, the grain. Paste that block verbatim into each prompt rather than paraphrasing it.
Paraphrasing is what breaks this. "Warm filmic grade with lifted blacks" and "warm cinematic look, soft shadows" mean the same thing to you and different things to a model.

Vary only one axis at a time
Across a sequence, change the subject and the framing but hold everything else. If you also change the time of day between shots, you have changed two axes, and the clips will not cut.
The b-roll and insert packs in this library are built this way on purpose: eight shots, one grade, one lighting approach, varying only subject and scale.

Match the geometry when comparing
For before-and-after, comparison and generation-to-generation shots, the camera height, distance and lens must be identical in both prompts. Any drift makes the comparison unreliable, and viewers notice even when they cannot say why.
State it explicitly in both prompts: same camera height, same distance, same focal length, same light direction.
